Privacy
Trust is part of the gift. Short version: guest jacket previews can stay in your browser; signed-in saves use private storage tied to your account.
Guest preview
When you generate a jacket summary as a guest, that photo and form data is used in your browser for the preview. Guests are not required to create an account for a free jacket.
Signed-in accounts
Your Story uses accounts (email or OAuth via Supabase Auth). When you sign in and save, character sheets, photos, and comics are stored in private Supabase storage and database rows scoped to your user — not a public gallery. Full Fiction chapters and Comic Short generation run through signed Edge Functions.
Payments
Credit packs are purchased through Stripe Checkout. Stripe processes card details; we store checkout session metadata needed to grant credits to your account.
Hosting and logs
Like most websites, the host that serves these pages may see standard technical logs (such as IP address and pages requested).
Children
Parents and guardians should decide whether a child’s name or photo belongs in a gift story. Prefer gentler formats for all-ages tone, and avoid placing minors in horror or true-crime roles.
